Michelle's primary research interests include:

  • Corporate theory;
  • Legal design, and corporate design in particular;
  • Legal personhood;
  • Ethical theory;
  • Legal theory;
  • Corporate law; and
  • Systems theory.

Researcher's projects

Michelle is currently a PhD Candidate with the ANU School of Law. Michelle's Thesis, 'The Pluralist Corporation', proposes a new model/design for the for-profit corporation. The new model proposed in the Thesis is aimed at facilitating more socially and environmentally responsible conduct on the part of corporations.
