Research interests
The application of program evaluation and implementation science in public health settings, particularly in relation to health promotion, Indigenous health and addiction research.
Biography
Dr Megan Whitty is currently undertaking her postdoctoral fellowship at the Australian National university. She holds a PhD in Public Health research from Charles Darwin University (2017) and completed her BA (Hons.) in Anthropology at the University of Melbourne (2006).
Megan is an experienced early career researcher working at the ANU Centre for Social Research and Methods as a member of the Centre for Gambling Research team. She has a broad range of project management and qualitative research experience gained from past positions with Menzies School of Health Research in the Preventable and Chronic Diseases Division.
