Research interests
My research interests are in the areas of management accounting. I am particularly interested in the design and use of performance evaluation systems, acocunting for risk management, the behavioural and strategic implications of management accounting, managerial contorls in inter-organizational relations and management accounting as practiced in organization using both quantitative and qualitative research methods.
Biography
Alex holds a Phd degree at The Australian National University (ANU). He has previously taught financial accounting and is currently teaching master students for management accounting. Alex has built up close connection with industries and his reseach primarily focuses on exmianing real management and accounting issues in organizations. He won the best paper award in Acconting and Finance Association confernce in 2016. He was a recipient of '2019 ANU Research School Grant', '2018 Accounting and Finance Association of Australia Research Grant', '2017 ANU College of Business and Economics Research Grant' and '2010 School of Accounting and Business Information System Scholarship’. In 2008, he was awarded by Education Office, Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Australia for “Excellent performances as being the Minister of Sports in Chinese Students and Scholars’ Association”. He currently serves as the RSA representative on ANU library committee.
