Biography

Nghia Tran has been working in higher education since 2004, both in Vietnam and Australia. He completed his PhD in Higher Education Studies at the University of Melbourne, Australia, in 2016. He obtained his Master's degree in Lifelong Learning Policy and Management in Denmark, Spain, and the United Kingdom under the Erasmus Mundus Program in 2009. His first degree was in Education, completed at Can Tho University, Vietnam, in 2004. Being able to conduct both qualitative and quantitative research, he has (co)authored more than 30 academic publications in the areas of graduate employability, work-integrated learning, teacher education, curriculum development, English language teaching, and assessment. He is aspired to improve the quality of students’ learning experience and prepare them for employability in a quickly evolving world.
