Biography

Joanne works as a Biostatistician within the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Program. She has held academic positions at the University of Mauritius, University of Newcastle, and University of Canberra. Joanne is a Statistician by training and moved to Biostatistics in 2018 upon her appointment at the National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health. Her statistical expertise is Capture-Recapture methods to estimate unknown population size.
