William Steed received his PhD from the Australian National University in 2011. He has taught linguistics at the Australian National University, James Cook University and Central Queensland University, and is now a visiting fellow at the Australian National University and a sessional teacher for speech pathology programs elsewhere.

William is a member of the Australian Spanish Pronunciation Pedagogy Project.
