The making and breaking of treaties; the remaking of the law of the sea; international criminal law and concepts of allegience.

Biography

Dr Kirsten Sellars is currently Visiting Fellow at the Coral Bell School of Asia Pacific Affairs, Australian National University. Her research focuses on public international law — especially the law of the sea, the law governing uses of force, and international criminal law — with particular emphasis on East and South Asian perspectives. Her latest books, ‘Crimes against Peace’ and International Law (2015), and the edited volume, Trials for International Crimes in Asia (2018), are published by Cambridge University Press.
