Biography

Serrin completed her doctoral studies at the Australian National University's School of Politics and International Relations in 2022. Prior to that, she completed a BSc in Evolution, Ecology and Organismal Biology and Biological Anthropology at the ANU (2018) and a BA in Politics and Philosophy at the University of Adelaide (2015).

Serrin is currently a Research Fellow with the Crawford School of Public Policy, working on projects relating to citizen engagement and participation. She also serves as a member of the Australian Capital Territory's Animal Welfare Advisory Committee.

Alongside her research work, she is passionate about teaching, and in 2022 was awarded an Award for Teaching Excellence (Tutoring or Demonstrating) from the ANU's College of Arts and Social Sciences.
