Andrew Ross is a postdoctoral research fellow groundwater management with the US Environmental Defence Fund and Cornell University where he engaged in globally relevant collaborative initiatives to promote sustainable groundwater management. He leads the International Association of Hydrogeologists' working group on economic aspects of managed aquifer recharge. He is a member of the Groundwater Solutions Initiative for Policy and Practice and a partner in the Australian Water Partnership. Before joining the ANU he was policy director in the Australian Department of Environment and Heritage and the Treasury and has also worked for the OECD's Environmental Directorate.
