Biography

Andrew Ross is a honorary senior lecturer at the Fenner School of Environment and Society. He is engaged in globally relevant collaborative initiatives on integrated groundwater and surface water resource management. He leads the International Association of Hydrogeologists' working group on economic aspects of managed aquifer recharge. He is a member of the Groundwater Solutions Initiative for Policy and Practice and a partner in the Australian Water Partnership. Before joining the ANU he was policy director in the Australian Department of Environment and Heritage and the Treasury and has also worked for the OECD's Environmental Directorate.
