I am currently Program Lead – Healthier Rice through Transgenic and Gene-edited Technologies at the International Rice Research Institute in the Philippines, focused on the development of micronutrient-enriched rice varieties. My career vision is to combine quantitative genetics and biotechnology to develop varieties that effectively meet exacting farmer, market and nutritional requirements.
