Research interests

My main research is to improve the resolution of structures of the deep Earth and integrate my results with the work of geodynamics, mineral physics, and geochemistry to better understand the dynamic and evolution of the Earth. Particularly, I focus on the use of high-frequency seismic waves to explore the small-scale structures of the lowermost mantle (e.g., ULVZ, seismic scatterers) based on array processing and waveform modeling methods. My future research will focus on utilizing seismic coda to provide a new window into the Earth structure.
