Biography

Judith Jones has been a member of the Faculty and the Australian Centre for Environmental Law (ACEL) since 1996. She is a graduate in science from the University of Sydney and in law from the University of New South Wales. She currently teaches environmental law to both undergraduate and postgraduate students and also Foundations of Australian Law to first year law students. With her dual qualifications her particular interest has been the connection between science and law including regulatory design for risk assessment and precautionary approaches. More recently her research has focussed on environmental and legal history.
