As Associate dean(Education) I advised the College Dean and the Directors of Research Schools on the strategic direction of education programs at undergraduate and postgraduate level, and their quality assurance. Oversaw the College Flexible Learning Unit, and chaired the College Education Committee. Student Discipline and Appeals. Teaching in computer science, supervising research in computer science and software engineering education. Research in computing education: particularly on the development of curriculum and the intersection between plagiarism and professional practice.
