Biography
Dr. Marina Iskhakova joined ANU in July 2016 as a Lecturer/ Educational Program Manager at Research School of Economics at College of Business and Economics. Before starting at this position she has been a Program Coordinator (for Master of Science/Lecturer at Curtin University Sydney and a Founder and Director of a new dynamic Cross-Cultural Consultancy/ Training Company Orange Cultures based in Sydney, Mosman. She is energetic, ambitious and an open-minded Global Business/Cross-Cultural Professional. She has a strong academic background with Master degree in Mathematical Economics from St.Peteresburg State University, PhD in HRM ( St.Petersburg State University, Russia) and MBA in Strategic Leadership with focus on Asian Business Environment (from Norwegian School of Business BI - Norway/China). Marina lived/studied and worked in Russia, Norway, China, USA, UK and now resides in Australia, Canberra. Beyond Academia Marina's goal is to be the first Russian academic business-woman who climbs mt. Everest (8848m). She is married and has 2 daugthers.
