His main research interests are (i) second language pragmatics and (ii) second language acquisition in study abroad contexts


Tim convenes and teaches courses on Indonesian language and translation.

Researcher's projects

Tim is currently conducting two projects on the acquisition of pragmatics by second-language speakers of Indonesian: one on acquisition of pragmatics during study abroad, and one on the acquisition of pragmatics-as-interaction.
