Research interests

Giovanni is a physicist interested in experimental and theoretical research in quantum optics, quantum information, optomechanics, and decoherence phenomena. His previous works focused on developing systems for ultra-sensitive measurements of forces and displacements, using light-matter interaction for metrological applications, and performing stability analysis for novel platforms to study decoherence effects. He has also experience in manipulating non-classical states of light, engineering optical quantum states, and interfacing heterogeneous systems for quantum network technologies.
