Research interests

My research revolves around the conservation and ecology of arboreal mammals in fragmented landscapes. I'm particularly interested in understanding the population genetics, movement patterns, and habitat connectivity of these species. My work explores the impact of environmental disturbances, such as wildfires, on endangered species like the greater glider and the spotted-tailed quoll. I also study tree hollows and their ecological role for hollow-dependent species, particularly with a focus on the greater glider.

Biography

I completed my PhD at the Univestiy of Wollongong in 2023, and prior to this I obtained my Bachelor of Conservation Biology (Honours I) in 2018.

Researcher's projects

My current research involves understanding how greater gliders use nest boxes and hollows in a post-fire environment, and evaluating hollow augmentation methods for population recovery.
