Biography

Ngaio Fitzpatrick is an artist, Visiting Fellow with the ANU Climate Change Institute, recipient of a 2018 Australia Awards Endeavour Fellowship based in Berlin, a 2016 Vice Chancellors College of the Arts Fellowship and multiple arts grants to research, develop and present work. Her multi-disciplinary arts practice encompasses site specific installation, performance, collaborations, video and graphic imagery. With a background in environmentally sustainable architecture and building informing her practice, she is interested in ways in which art can be used as an immersive experience to draw attention to the issues surrounding climate change. She has exhibited work both in Australia and in Europe.
