Basura Fernando is a research fellow at the Australian Centre for Robotic Vision (ACRV) in The Australian National University (ANU). He obtained PhD from KU Leuven in March 2015 at VISICS group under the supervision of Prof. Tinne Tuytelaars. He obtained European Erasmus Mundus Masters (MS) in Color in Informatics and Media Technology (CIMET) from the University of Saint-Etienne France and the Gjovik University Norway in 2011. He obtained BSc (Hons. first class) in Computer Science & Engineering from the University of Moratuwa Sri Lanka in 2007.
