Biography

Alessandra Capezio completed her PhD at the University of Sydney and is an Associate Professor in Organisational Behaviour in the Research School of Management. Alessandra is passionate about promoting and teaching Evidence-based Practice in Management and is a Fellow of the Centre for Evidence Management. 

She is core member of the Work Effectiveness and Leadership Lab (WELL) which conducts high-quality research on dysfunctional workplace behaviours, careers, emotion, and self-regulation at work.  Her research focuses on:

  • Political behaviour and social influence
  • The 'dark' side of organizational behaviour 
  • Career development 
  • Psychological contracts
  • Corporate governance from an organizational behaviour perspective.

Alessandra's research has been published in the Journal of Management (Financial Times Top 50), Journal of Vocational Behavior (ABDC: A*)Journal of Management Studies (FT50, ABDC: A*)Tourism Management (ABDC: A*), Journal of Construction & Engineering Management (ABDC: A*), Journal of Business Ethics (FT50, ABDC: A), and the Journal of Career Assessment (ABDC: A).
