Research interests

My research interests include the growth of trans-Asiatic exchange networks which linked Southeast Asia to India, China and the Mediterranean during the Late Prehistoric Period (200 BCE-500 CE), the transmission of bronze casting technology from Mainland to Island Southeast Asia, and the transition to the historical period with the formation of Indianised states by the late first millennium CE.
