Biography

Glenn is a multidisciplinary researcher with an interest in understanding the relationships between distribution of natural resources, and social inequities and inequalities, through an Environmental and Social Justice lens. In particular, he is driven to highlight issues of social and environmental injustice, where particular social groups are unfairly disadvantaged by such distributions. Glenn’s research has examined these issues across highly diverse geographies from small villages in Cambodia, to climate change inequities at the global scale, using a range of qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods.

Glenn’s current research projects include examining the demographic and behavioural determinants of urban greenspace use (before and during the COVID19 crisis), examining the distributive relationships between air pollution and demographic groups in Australia, and understanding the perceptions of the Australian public to the cattle industry.

At the Fenner School of Environment & Society, Glenn is responsible for the development, convenorship, and content delivery of the school’s Honours and Masters graduate research courses.
