Biography
I am currently a postdoctoral fellow at the ARC Centre of Excellence for the Dynamics of Language and the School of Culture, History & Language at the Australian National University.
I completed my MSc at the University of Alberta researching Salish and Dene languages, and then received my PhD from James Cook University, where I conducted extensive fieldwork in the Bosavi watershed in Western Province, Papua New Guinea studying the Eibela language. I continue to research and conduct language documentation and revitalization in indigenous languages of Canada and Papua New Guinea.
